ScanMarine was founded in the 1980’s by Mr. Krister Andersson and other professionals from the Swedish maritime industry.  As the Swedish shipbuilding industry was declining during that period, ScanMarine was already from the beginning active on the international market and have since then an extensive track record of successful projects for many clients, mainly shipowners and shipyards, worldwide.

ScanMarine learned early on that agility, flexibility, an understanding of different cultures, strong project management, in combination with high class service, excellence and quality is a key to success. Though these principles we have established long-term partnerships with many of our clients, which has enabled us to maintain consistency and stable growth over the years.   

Our mission is to be a sustainable outfitting company. During project executions, ScanMarine is proposing sustainable design solutions an taking care of the waste material at the site in the most green way as possible. Our headquarter is equiped with solar panels,  charging facilities for our Ev fleet, highly automazied energy saving facility systems, and all waste is recycled.
